INTRODUCTION: Association of mechanical engineers (A.M.E.) in the department of mechanical engineering of the institute, established in 1967, acts as a platform for enhancing the teacher taught relations and also provides a conductive environment to transform the budding ideas into reality.
EVENTS ORGANISED BY A.M.E. AT NATIONAL LEVEL:
MECHARNIVAL: MECHARNIVAL 2010 held during 3rd& 4th April, 2010 had attracted various talents from all over the country. Paper presentation contest made the big pool of budding technocrats aware of latest development. There were guest lectures by renowned professors and personality development workshops by experienced management personnel. The model-making contest evoked the creativity of the students. Besides events such as G.K. quiz, Technical quiz, cricket quiz, software contest and cultural programmes were great success and the huge participation in all these events was noteworthy.
